Romeo and Juliet

A famous tragedy performed by a group of travelling jugglers and circus performers. The humorous acts of the jugglers alternate with scenes from Romeo and Juliet. The whole tragedy is depicted by acrobatics on aerial silk, juggling, partner acrobatics and dance.
The show is well suited for outdoor festivals. We like to perform it as a street show and enjoy the rich contact with the audience.
The ideal venue is a quiet part of a park or a small square with a nice atmosphere. Grass is the most suitable ground. But we can also play indoors in a space with sufficient height.
„Romeo and Juliet performed by the Chůdadlo is truly a theatrical experience.“

- Running time: 30 min.
- 3 performers
We have our own frame for aerial acrobatics, the building of which can be part of the performance – as part of attracting the audience.
Optimal conditions:
- Space: 10×10 m + space for spectators (ideally in a semicircle)
- ceiling height: 8 m
- sound equipment for connecting a headset via XLR and a computer via 3.5 mm jack (we can provide our own sound system upon agreement)
- set-up time: 15-30 min
- time to clear the scene: 15 min
- parking close to the stage
- dressing room, toilet
We normally perform Romeo and Juliet only in the summer period 30.4. – 30.9., because we cannot beat the wind to the rain in the winter months. So far. In the winter (October – April) we can perform this play anywhere under the roof or, in short, where neither we nor the audience will freeze. But take another look at the technical conditions – the constructure is really high.
